The Church

106 Years 1918-2024

Located at 3911 Bulluck School Road, Rocky Mount, North Carolina, HVMBC continues to be  a house of Worship, where all are welcomed . Established on March 13, 1918, under the Pastoral guidance of the late Rev. P.E. Dickens, with only seven other pastors, today we are blessed and led by the current Pastor, Rev. Oliver T. Jenkins.

I pray the peace of God our Father, the Love of Jesus our Lord and Savior, along with the comfort of the Holy Spirit; We are blessed, to be loved by God, and fortunate to have accepted the goodness of knowing Him for ourselves. I count it a joy to join you in fellowship, worship and service to our Lord. Let us walk together on one accord.

Hickory View Missionary Baptist Church Service

Join us for our in-church services each 1st., 2nd. 3rd. & 4th. Sunday at 11:00AM.  Our teleconference line is open each Sunday at 10:30am by dialing 1-(657) 390-4939 to connect with the Live Service. HVMBC Livestreaming Sunday Service on Facebook 11:00am.  HVMBC weekly radio broadcast each Tuesday at 1:15pm by tuning to 1490 AM or 98.1 FM on your radio.

The Hickory View Missionary Baptist Church Usher Staff. James Parker, President. On duty to take care of our church family, members, guests, and visitors.  Our Nursing staff are First-Aid & CPR Certified. 

HVMBC Male Choir under the leadership of Rev. Oliver Jenkins. LaMar Jones. President. Singing the praises of Our Lord and Savior. The Male Chorus performs every 3rd. & 4Th.Sunday.


Our Combined Choir can be enjoyed each 1st, & 2nd. Sundays. Sister Carrie Thompson, President.

HVMBC Communion is every 4th. Sunday.
